What is the quality of Eventgroove’s large-format printing?

Eventgroove uses state-of-the-art HP inkjet printing technology with remarkable results. This amazing machine can print up to 1440 dpi, resulting in unbelievable colour matches, sharp lines, and vibrant images.

What image quality should my image be?

If you plan on designing a poster at its finished size, it is ideal to have the images and file saved at 300 dpi to ensure high-quality production at 100% of size. If you submit an 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17" document to be enlarged, please make sure that the images are saved at 300 dpi or better.

What file format?

If sending a design at its finished size, please send PDF files to ensure optimal results. Artwork for custom posters and banners is accepted as a JPG, GIF, TIF, EPS, INDD, or AI.

Can you scale my files to become posters or banners?

You can send 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17" files and we will be happy to enlarge them for you as long as the resolution of the original file is good enough. In an effort to keep your poster or banner proportional, your finished prints may differ slightly from what our standard sizes dictate. If your posters are going in a space where exact sizing is required, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.

Are my files saved after printing?

We save all files for five years after printing. If you need reprints, just let us know. There is no need to resend the original file.

Can you print posters that match my tickets?

Large-format posters can be easily printed to match your tickets, in most cases. Most of our event and raffle tickets can be printed as a wide-format poster or banner of any size. Contact customer support at 855.798.0799 for details on either option.

Can I proof my poster?

You can proof your poster two ways: electronically through email or we can send an actual 11" x 17" proof (the electronic proof is the fastest way to get your posters). The mail proof will add to the overall processing time and will be printed on the same paper by the same machine that will be used for your posters. Mailed proofs are free.

Paper Posters:

9.5mil Premium Gloss Paper
This premium solution is designed for indoor use, comes at an affordable price, and features a stunning look that is sure to catch attention. This medium is ideal for designs that include high-resolution graphics and photo-quality images. Common uses include raffles, concert promotion, political, theatre promotion, parties, indoor sporting event advertising, and fashion shows.

9.0mil Satin Paper
Our satin paper is designed to be placed indoors, is very affordable, and features excellent colour reproduction. It is excellent for high-resolution graphics and sharp imagery, and is great at reducing glare created by direct lighting. This media is an ideal choice for raffles, concert promotion, political, theatre promotion, parties, indoor sporting event advertising, and fashion shows.

Satin Polypropylene Paper
This specialty paper is an extremely durable medium designed specifically for those in need of posters that are tear resistant. This option is designed for indoor use, comes standard with grommet mounts, and is glare resistant. The combination of features makes for perfect trade show displays that can be used hundreds of times. Other uses include raffles, concert promotion, political, theatre promotion, parties, indoor sporting event advertising, and fashion shows.

Banners:

Our banners are printed on 13mil Scrim Vinyl and available in both gloss and matte finishes. Scrim vinyl media is waterproof, durable, versatile, and easy to work with. It’s an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor use. It is able to withstand harsh weather conditions for long periods of time, is very heavy, and can endure tough wear and tear. This medium is also versatile enough to be frequently moved from outdoor to indoor locations. Our banners come standard with grommet mounts every 18 inches. Common uses include raffles, outdoor concert promotion, stage backdrops, political rallies, theatre promotion, parties, outdoor sporting event advertising, and fashion shows.

13mil Scrim Gloss Vinyl
Gloss vinyl is ideal for printing vibrant, multi-colour images. Its glossy surface provides extra vibrancy for an eye-catching appeal.

13mil Scrim Matte Vinyl
Matte Vinyl features glare-resistant coating that allows for vibrant, beautiful imaging. It is excellent at reducing glare, so it is ideal for outdoor applications where glare will affect viewing.

What mounting do you use?

Our vinyl banners are tape hemmed for a finished look that also provides durability. Grommets are added to each corner, or every two feet for large banners. Indoor posters printed on Satin Polypropylene Film also come with grommet mounts.

Is your ink UV resistant?

All of our posters are printed with solvent-based, UV-stable ink. Our UV-resistant ink is extremely durable and will remain UV stable for 3-5 years.

What is your turnaround time?

As our large-format posters do not require lengthy ink drying time, a large poster order can be ready to ship within 72 hours after proof approval. Other printing or photographic methods can't compete with large-format printing when it comes to small runs or even single copies of very large images.

We will create a proof for you to review within one business day. After electronic proof approval, we will process and ship within three days for quantities of 10 items or fewer. For quantities more than 10, add one additional day of processing time for every 10 posters/banners. The shipping time you choose is in addition to processing time.

Processing Times:
