Tyvek^® Event Wristbands

Event Wristbands are synthetic fabric bracelets most commonly used to secure events. They are made from lightweight and durable Tyvek® material that will last the length of your event. Event Wristbands are useful any time you need a quick visual identifier for your patrons, and you can easily customize wristbands any way you want.

DuPont™ Tyvek® is a unique, nonwoven material made of randomly laid and compressed high density polyethylene fibers. The resulting fabric is incredibly strong and very lightweight. It has many applications where durability and tear resistance are necessary. It is the perfect material for event or party Wristbands.

Tyvek® is not paper, it is a strong, waterproof, and durable fabric. Inkjet printers are the optimal printing technology for Tyvek® fabric. Therefore, logos and text printing on Tyvek® will have less brightness and clarity (for example sharp edges) than laser printing on high gloss paper. However, the printing is durable and will not smear or rub on the Tyvek® wristband.

Plastic Wristbands are made in a broad range of materials, one of which is Tyvek®. Our event wristbands are commonly called "paper wristbands", which may lead to confusion as they are made of plastic. Vinyl wristbands are also a common plastic wristband, however vinyl wristbands are far less breathable than other plastic wristbands, such as Tyvek® wristbands. While there are many options for plastic wristbands we are convinced that Tyvek® is the best option for every event wristband.

Tyvek® is an ideal material for cheap Wristbands because it is comfortable to wear and can resist repetitive folding and flexing, and is also inexpensive to purchase large quantities. The Wristbands are quickly secured on a patron's wrist, eliminating potential traffic jams as people line up to get into your event. A Wristband will last well beyond the length of your event, even if it gets wet! All our Tyvek® Wristbands are also recyclable, as polyethylene is similar to plastic bottles. We truly believe Tyvek® is the superior material for all Event Wristbands, including Crowd Control Wristbands. It is inexpensive, which allows you to order plenty of crowd control wristbands to give to as many or as few clients as you want. Tyvek® Wristbands are also incredibly durable and secure. They stay on and don't allow clients to transfer one wristband to another person, keeping your crowd controlled.

All of our wristbands feature tamper-proof adhesive tabs. Once attached, the perforated tab cannot be detached without tearing or destroying the band. If the band is attached snugly on the customer's wrist, it cannot be removed unless it is cut off.

Our security wristbands feature a holographic foil label that is extremely difficult to duplicate, and provide a visual identification. Security wristbands also feature individual numbering as an additional deterrent.

The primary uses of Event Wristbands are proof of entry or ticket purchase to an event, or proof of ID verification for age restricted events or purchases. They can be used for music festivals, concerts, nightclubs, crowd control, all-inclusive resorts, conventions, parties, amusement parks, stadiums, camps, bars, hotels, restaurants, schools, day care centers, tour groups, crowd management, special privileges, catering, age ID, height restrictions, sporting events, and much more. Event Wristbands are convenient for any application where a visual means of identification is needed. Many clients order different coloured Wristbands to indicate prices paid for admission, monitor access to events or special areas, designate different colours for certain days of multi-day events, or identify special entry by VIPs or contestants.

Our VIP Tyvek^® wristbands can be printed with high quality and unique graphics that will show your commitment to giving each of your VIP's the best experience. All VIP Wristbands are secure, comfortable and allow your staff to quickly and easily identify who belongs in the special access VIP areas.

Inkjet printing is the optimal printing technology for Tyvek^® wristbands. Inkjet printing is less bright and clear than laser printing on white high-gloss paper. The edges of the print are less distinct. However, the printing is durable and will not smear or rub.

The band is 10" maximum length with an approximately 1" tab where the adhesive is. This allows the wristband to be attached around any wrist size from the tiniest wrist up to a 9" maximum diameter.

For orders under 20,000 printed wristbands, we can process your order within 2 business days. This is after you have submitted your order and approved your emailed proof. For each additional 20,000 wristbands, add one extra business day of processing time.

For the most part are Custom Wristbands can easily be printed with any design you come up with. When designing your Custom Wristband keep in mind that the printable area is roughly .85" by 7". Given that our Wristbands are 1" wide there is a considerable amount of space to work with. We can easily work with you to print colours, images and text that will match your Tickets, Posters, and event branding.

You are emailed an electronic proof of the Wristband, which must be reviewed and approved by you before we print your event's Wristbands. The electronic proof is sent via email and therefore is electronic in its form. Although it looks similar to the actual wristbands you will receive, it will not fully demonstrate the inkjet printing of the logo and/or text on the Tyvek fabric, which, by the very nature of the fabric, will have slightly less clarity and brightness than full colour digital printing on high gloss paper, as an example. The minimum order is 100 Wristbands. Each order will come in sheets of 10, which means that your order total will be rounded to the nearest ten in order to be processed. Of course, the price per Wristband decreases as the order gets larger.

You will select the numbering you wish to have on your Wristbands. You can start at any number desired and the number can appear anywhere on the Wristband.

Canada Ticket Printing has no set up fees or hidden costs. The only cost in addition to the Wristband printing is the shipping charge necessary to get your order delivered to you.
